Gtk Theme Elegant Cold blue MacMenu

17032008.pngThis is not the the first time that I modify a gtk theme to fit my needs but this is maybe the first time I’m really happy with it :)
So I decided to release it. Maybe I won’t be alone to like it !

Elegant Cold Blue is a mod of Elegant Brit by fmrbpensador (AKA What is in a name? on ubuntuforums.org) who I thank a lot for all his awesome work.
This mod had a bit darker background color and all orange turned to a cold blue. It is also macmenu (and globalmenu) ready.
I also made an emerald theme (window decorations) that complete the theme.

Install by extracting to your ~/.themes directory or drag and drop the tarball to the theme manager.
Note : you may want to set Panel/menubar-black.png as panel background using panel properties dialog.

Global menu le nouveau mac menu

global menu new mac menuLe populaire hack gtk ainsi que l’applet imitant le menu mac n’est plus maintenu par son créateur original AdQ.
Heureusement, rainwoodman a lancé un nouveau projet basé sur le hack et l’applet d’AdQ (maintenant totalement réécrit) : globalmenu.
Maintenant, les menus sont détaché à l’applet du tableau de bord uniquement si celle ci est lancée et, les raccourcis claviers (par ex: Alt+F) sont fonctionnels.

Voici un petit guide pour vous aider a fabriquer et mettre en place un plugin de recherche pour firefox et Internet Explorer 7 (un moteur de recherche de votre site à ajouter dans le champ de moteurs de recherche du navigateur à droite de la barre d’adresse), avec découverte automatique du plugin et lien pour installer facilement le plugin.

Basé sur les spécifications d’opensearch, ce plugin est vraiment simple a implémenter et installer.

Plugin dtabs pour wordpress

J’ai vu récement des gens qui cherchaient le plugin dtabs pour wordpress, cependant le site de l’auteur (David Burton) semble (de nouveau!) inaccessible..
wow, le site est de nouveau en ligne :)
J’ai la dernière (je pense) version de ce plugin qui fonctionne avec wordpress 2.3.2 et, je l’ai mise en ligne ici pour ceux qui en ont besoin.

Attention: je ne suis pas l’auteur de ce plugin et n’en fait en aucun cas le support.
Malheureusement, je n’ai pas le theme kubrick tabs qui allait avec, si quelqu’un en a une récente version faites le moi savoir.
